Mt. Kumgang is divided into two parts: the Inner and the Outer Mt. Kumgangs. The former one is the western part which extends into inland and the latter one is the eastern part which extends toward the sea. In the Outer Mt. Kumgang course, you will tour Kuryongyeon, Manmulsang and Samilpo Lake /Haekumgang Seashore where you can experience the magnificent rugged masculine beauty of nature and at Inner Mt. Kumgang, you will be attracted by the delicate and feminine beauty of the numerous waterfalls and ponds. Abundant cultural relics and sites such as Pyohoonsa Temple, Samburam and Myogilsang will give you a sense of the long and rich history of this area. |
